Simulator time stays separate from flight time. Flights with no time credited keep their times and landings but add no flight time.

Night time

PilotOS works out night time from the airports and times. Which rule do you log by?

Like my airline: the whole flight is night when you leave at least 30 minutes after sunset (or 30 minutes before sunrise). It matches every flight in an AirAsia export. Exact minutes: only the minutes after civil twilight (ICAO night), worked out along your route.

Home Screen app

Put PilotOS on your iPad or iPhone Home Screen. It opens like an app and works in Airplane mode.

  1. Open PilotOS in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow).
  3. Tap Add to Home Screen, then Add.

The Home Screen app keeps its own copy of your logbook, separate from Safari. Move your flights once: tap Save backup file here, then open the app and tap Load backup file (or import your airline spreadsheet there).

You are using the PilotOS Home Screen app. It works without internet.

Erases this device's logbook and signs it out, so PilotOS opens like a first visit. The cloud copy stays. For building PilotOS only.

There, open PilotOS and go to Cloud backup. Tap Already backup? Sign in! and then I have a code from my other device. The code works once, for 10 minutes.

Your logbook is kept on Cloud only to sync your devices. It is never sold nor shared!
